Vetafarm sells a generic Viagra-based pill dubbed the "little blue pill" for erectile dysfunction, the company says in a statement.
The new drug will be available in three different dosages — 5mg, 10mg and 20mg — with different restrictions on the active ingredient.
The new drug is the first of its kind for treating an erectile dysfunction that affects millions of men.
"In terms of the generic form, this drug is priced as follows," the company said.
The drug, which comes in the form of a pill, is currently available as a 50 milligram tablet. The company has not commented on the new drug's availability, though it is working with healthcare experts to determine how best to proceed.
Originally developed by Pfizer, the pill was developed to treat erectile dysfunction in men by blocking the enzyme PDE5, which allows blood flow into the penis.
The drug, which costs about $5 per pill, is already available as a 100 milligram pill, or as a generic equivalent to Viagra.
"Pfizer has not yet announced when this generic would be available as a generic," said Dr. Jorge Puente, Pfizer's chairman and a member of the clinical advisory committee.
The drug has been on the market in several countries including the United States, Canada and Europe since its launch in November.
Viagra is the active ingredient in the erectile dysfunction drug sildenafil, the company said.
"It's a very safe and effective treatment for ED," Dr. Puente added.
Originally developed by Pfizer, the pill is priced at about $5 a pill.

"This drug is the only treatment for ED that has to do with its active ingredient, Sildenafil Citrate," the company said.
Viagra also has some generic rivals.
"There are other generic drugs that have the same active ingredient," Dr. Jing said.
Viagra has a lower price than the branded drug, which is available in several generic drugs.
"There are other generic drugs that have the same active ingredient but are also cheaper," the company said.
Pfizer has already launched three generic versions of Viagra, the most successful of which is Pfizer's Viagra Connect.

This new classification of tadalafil 10mg will enable men who suffer from ED to obtain it safely from a local pharmacy.
Sanofi, the drug manufacturer, is expected to launch Cialis Together later in 2023. Cialis Together will be available to purchase in pharmacies without a prescription by men over 18 with erectile dysfunction. Cialis Together tablets will contain 10mg tadalafil and the maximum pack size will be 8 tablets. Other doses and pack sizes of Cialis and tadalafil will still be available on prescription through doctors and specially trained pharmacists. Before purchase in a pharmacy there must be an assessment with a pharmacist, who will check that Cialis Together is appropriate and safe, or whether consultation with a GP is necessary.
Men suffering with ED will have another treatment option with the convenience of purchasing it in their local pharmacy, including pharmacies found inside supermarkets (eg. Tesco, Asda, Sainsbury’s). The pharmacist will ask some health questions, may check blood pressure, and will advise on treatment with Cialis Together or Viagra Connect, or the need to consult a GP. Pharmacies usually have a private room for such discussions.
Cialis Together is a 10mg tadalafil product for use at least 30 minutes prior to anticipated sexual activity. Its effects can last. It is not recommended for daily use. The maximum recommended dose of Cialis Together will be one tablet in 24 hours. Prescription Cialis and tadalafil will still be available at different doses.
